Watercolor Polar Bear

I used salt to get the starry look of the sky.  This is bigger than usual – 12″ x 14″.

    Love this Cher!! Do you put the salt on after the picture is wet with paint or before?? Love the affect and the hugging of our dear disappearing species !!

      While it’s wet. You’ll get different effects if you use Table Salt or Rock Salt. The Salt is absorbing the color in a beautifully inconsistent way. Wait till it’s BONE DRY, and then brush all the salt off. Show me pics if you try this, OK?

    I like this one better that the polar bear against the yellow moon. But both are great.
