I used salt to get the starry look of the sky.  This is bigger than usual – 12″ x 14″.

Watercolor landscape

This took about 15 minutes.  I love the semi-abstract look of this piece, and the areas where I scratched into the paper with the end of my paint brush.

Faces – Man

I feel like ALL my faces are starting to look the same, but maybe that’s because I’ve been mostly drawing young women.  Here’s an attempt at a man’s face, using pencil and a smudger.  Reference Photo at the end.

Faces – Line Drawing of a Young Woman’s Face

Title kinda says it all……..  I’m actually surprised that I did Faces for about 8 times, before something else caught my eye………….  The first one is Before I erased the pencil lines.
