Faux Midori Notepad

I’m constantly thinking of things I need to do, but I KNOW that I won’t remember it by the time I get home, so I have to scramble to find a scrap of paper to make a note of it.  This happens a LOT, so I made this teeny little notepad for my purse.  I’ve folded a few small scraps of paper into it, and they’re held in place with an Elastic Spine, so that I can constantly refill it.

I painted on canvas, and also adhered some paper ephemera, and silk scraps.  I added an elastic to keep it closed, and to hook a pen onto.  It took a long time to make, but was a really fun project.
