Boy, I’d forgotten how FUN clay is!
As mentioned previously, I needed to make a few pieces so that when I fired the kiln, it was full.
Well, I started playing around again this morning, and couldn’t stop.
I made 2 wind chimes for the grandkids to paint – no pic of them, because they look too plain at this point.
Then I made these goofy bird chimes, again for the kids. They have clay balls dangling in the belly, and they’ll tinkle when the wind blows.
and a couple of these hearts that I just love
and I’m experimenting with clay flowers that would be hung on a wall – VERY labour intensive, but in a relaxing Zen-y kind of way. The flower is about 10 inches across.
Very cool…and lucky grandkids.
Cool… The flowers are newfor you and I love them… The kids will love the wind chimes… I do ox… The new designs on yoyr hearts are great as well… Love it!!
like the flowers
The kids are going to love to paint the pieces.
The flowers turned out great, anxious to see how they turn out once painted.
Looks very whimsical and fun!
