I forgotten that I’d done these pages……
A Japanese Lantern Plant
In the style of an artist I admire – Karen Knutson
Not sure why I drew this knobby-kneed girlie…. I guess I was in a whimsical mood
Practicing leaves using one wet stroke – it looks deceptively simple….but it’s not…..
all great but like the bird best
Thanks. The woman I mimicked calls this style “wire painting”. Her strokes (more than mine) look like bent wire, I guess. She’s really really good.
My fav is the japanese lantern plant.
Your leaves were really special, love how they had blended colours
thanks, I LOVE this simplified style of painting, and plan to do more of it
My favourite is the pelican. I like he patch of blue behind hi so his head
yeah, those colors are pretty dynamic
Love these … I love the bird … Also the lovely mix of colours in the Japanese lanterns… Keep painting!!
