I have 111 books in my studio (yes, I counted them) that are Tutorials, and I acquired them slowly over about 10 years. I find that I no longer go to them for inspiration, and decided to get rid of them. Before I do that, however, I’m going to TRY to do ONE PAGE out of each book. Wish me luck……

The Chinese Brush Painting Bible
Every single page has an exercise on it. The premise is single, but very descriptive, strokes, using a thick Chinese Paint Brush and Ink.
I don’t have either of those, so I used a Number 5 Round, and watercolors.
Apparently, the dragonfly represents fickleness and weakness, who knew?
Those eyes are soooo bad. All I can say is “another book down”…………
