The background is too wishy-washy, it would have looked better with a stronger Caribbean turquoise, I think.

What do you do with all these wonderful little gems?
Nothing really, it just keeps me making art. And also, I LOVE LOVE LOVE finishing a journal! And I guess that there’s a chance that a small page in a journal would inspire a larger piece on canvas.
I think the blue is a bit soft but I do love the detail in this piece …
