OK, More acrylic pours, on Records. The first one has NO SILICONE, yay!! Cleaning off the silicone before you put on the Resin Coat is a total Pain in the Butt.
I had to “fix” this second piece a couple of times, which involved pouring on more white – nope; pouring on more blues – nope; Dropping dark blue mixed with Silicone in specific spots – yes. This one has an amazing lacy effect going on around the edges – just beautiful.
They are awesome Cher!
Thanks, Jo! I just can’t get enough of this technique! And believe me, for every 3 or 4 that I post, there are many that did NOT turn out. But I just scrape ’em off, and re-pour.
That one is a beauty. Did you find a shop to sell them in?
No, haven’t even looked yet. They take about 15 days of drying, varnishing, drying, and curing before they’re safe to move around, so I’m going to make a swack of them, use up all my Acrylic Paint, and then find Vendor opportunities in February.
Thanks for that little tip. Can appreciate them much more…and see all the l
hidden creatures…skull…phantom child…duck…old lady. They are quite lovely.
