Every Day In May – EDIM2017 – 12 0f 31

This is the last page in this journal  – another Completed Journal!!

Pretty pathetic drawing/painting, tho’…oh well….  Sometimes you knock it out of the park, and sometimes you drop the ball on your sore toe………..

What I’m finding with this EDIM commitment is that, even on days where I make a not-so-great drawing (see above!), I stay in the studio and work on something else.  I’ve done more arty stuff in the last couple weeks than I normally do in 2 months.

Lesson Learned?  I need to have a commitment (yeah, yeah, Don, or BE committed…..)

  1. The favorite one says:

You took the words right out of my mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Derek Sidenius says:

I got to say I loved this one, too. It’s sort of a political statement. The face reminds me of Nixon, at least the eyes do as well as the gaping but rather droopy mouth. Loved the rendering. It’s better than your Trump of a few days ago. The body part is intriguing as well. The upper portion reveals a dancer, with the mid- and lower regions showing her extremely longish legs ending in a demi-pointe, no less. Of course it could be a rendering of Twiggy. I am not sure. Keep up the fine work..

  3. Suz says:

i agree with Derek the dragon fly face is definitely humanish … (is that a word ..tee hee)
Keep up the great work !!

  4. Maureen says:

I didn’t realize you were so politically inclined but must say love the little character.
