I splurged and bought a product that I’ve never used before – Dr. Ph. Martin’s Hydrus Fine Art Watercolor. It’s liquid, and comes in a bottle with a Squeeze Dropper in the Lid. The worrisome bit is how easy it would be to spill the whole jar, Yikes!
These color are just gorgeous, and are the most intense colors I’ve ever used. It’s not evident in this piece, as I did this retro phone from a photograph, and only used Black, and a hint of yellow/brown for the Dial Piece.
I ‘m really happy with how the cord turned out.
I’d drawn this last month, but added color today, so I’m counting it as one of my EDIM pieces.
I am intrigued. Do you put some liquid on a palette and then apply with a brush?
Yep. I actually have trouble getting the colors to NOT be intense. I put, literally, a drop in the palette.
Pretty cool…You’ve created a 3D effect.
Really like this one, it’s a interesting piece of work.
Awesome intense colours and really good .. love the details!!
