Went into the studio this morning intending to paint Old-School Style tattoos onto a pair of white sneakers. FAIL! It was really hard (for me) to get any level of detail, and still have the images small enough to put on the sneakers.
Undeterred, I started working on the last Moon Silhouette. EPIC FAIL! Gahhhh, I tried to draw a flock of heron silhouettes, and they were just tragically pathetically horribly bad.
Still, I was determined to do SOMETHING that I could actually post, so I printed out a list of “prompts” for people who do art every day.
The first prompt was “Tattoo”. I did this with a bleeding, and a non-bleeding, pen and a little bit of watercolor. I like it.
The other prompt was “Fairy Tale”. The minute I read that, I pictured a princess, in bed, and a prince who brought her coffee in bed every morning.
And they lived happily ever after…………………
I like them
PS I think that might be a HINT Paul
No such thing as a FAIL in art… only experiments, and its is still WAAAYYY better then trying to figure out why your scatter chart in excel is not displaying correctly . 😉
Ha, yeah, I’ve got to agree – a bad day in the studio is WAAAY better then a good day with Scatter Charts!!!
Now that is funny….you really should get your scatter charts in order. Anyways, I really like your your bleedy stuff. And the skeleton is fun.
Love the mermaid. ..and the prince is Charming.
Perhaps oh “favorite one” the hint is for you.
Hey … they are both great .. love the tattoo and love the notion of prince charming bringing me my daily coffee .. yummm!!
If I don’t bring you coffee in bed every morning, does that mean that I will not live happily ever after????
I read that a bit different than “Paulie” did, I read it that the Prince does bring coffee to the Princess every morning so they are going to live happily ever after …
You got it!
