Lorna’s been working quite independently of me, and man, she is ROCKIN’ it! She’s using great colors, and taking chances with non-typical color choices for her drawings.
Here’s what I’ve done:
Added color to a previously drawn frog
A REALLY detailed two-page spread of a building, done from two other sketches I saw on Pinterest. This one took me a couple hours to complete.
Remember the Cactus we did on a big sheet of paper? I didn’t like the whole piece, BUT I cut out the flower, and glued it onto one of my journal pages
Three little sketches that will eventually become Christmas Cards. The first one still needs color. I’m hoping that when I add the color, the bird will look less angry!
And now Lorna’s:
She actually worked on two others that she just wasn’t happy with, as well as the following. She’s been drawing and painting a LOT!
A whimsical girl figure
A horse – great colors! and she also didn’t like her whole cactus picture, so she cut it out and made it part of the horse picture – Perfect!
This eagle – again, yowza, great color choices, and good control over her bleeds and blends
They are all great, Lorna’s look more relaxed and less controlled
Love your building, Cher. I assume you are going to add some colour. The frog and flower are great as well.
Your 2 page detailed building is fabulous. I think one vibrant color on one item would look amazing to your piece.
Lorna and Cher …. you guys are doing such wonderful pieces … I do hope that bird looking at his prezzie will be less disappointed with his gift 🙂

Great work by both of you…..
