Pens and Pencils

(You might’ve see this already – I posted it before I really understood the difference between a PAGE and a POST – it WAS a Page)

I was reading an article on cleaning up your studio on  Julie Fei-Fan Balzer’s  Web Page (http://balzerdesigns.com/), and for some BIZARRE reason, I actually got up, right then, and sorted through all my pens, pencils, Sharpies, erasers, etc. and ORGANIZED them!!  It was like I was possessed, and the results were amazing.  First, I actually know where all that stuff is (oh yeah, it was all over the house, and I do mean all over….), and secondly, they are now all stored with the writing tip facing down, so the ink is being gravity fed to the right location, NOT out the back end…………………  It also made me realize that I do not need to buy a single solitary writing implement for at least a kjillion years, perhaps longer.

Here’s what I found that I had (who knew??):

A plethora of Colored Pencils, some for watercolor, some not:

A glut of Erasers and Sharpeners:

An embarrassment of Sharpies and Felt Pens:

A swack of Colored Ink Pens (and yes, some of them are sparkly, oh that’s so cheesy…):

An excess of Graphite Pencils and Charcoals.

The outer part of the Blue, Orange, Red, and Black pencils are coated in VELVET, how cool is that??  A gift from my sister……..

Awesome Elegant Writers (they Bleeeeeeeed so nicely) and Disappearing Ink Pens:

A really cool Rat-Ring that lights up!

And here is everything all neatly put away, I am SO proud of myself!  Thank you Julie Fei-Fan Balzer!!

Did you check to make sure each pen works? That is my problem….I keep the ones that skip thinking they will get better.
