Clay Hearts and Creepy Heads

I have been feeling very uninspired by the stuff I’ve been making lately.  It’s OK, but none of it is very original or creative.  But Today, YAY, finally I made a couple pieces that I love.

First, 3 more wall-hung hearts; 1 is simply decorative, 2 are meant as planters.  They’re fine, and will probably sell at the show, but yawn….whatever

These next two pieces, though, actually have me excited.  Creepy heads.  I’ve intentionally left gaps in the heads, and I’ve made a piece that fits in the back for two candles.  The candle light will flicker and show through the gaps (I hope!)

I’d put plants in those wall-hung vases. I’d like to see what colours that you will cover them with.

I love the creepy heads, especially if candle light shows thru the cracks.

Yeah, I’m definitely all about the creepy…. I’m struggling with how to hang the head, over a separate piece that will hold the electric candles. You have to be able to EASILY remove the head, turn on/off the candles, and re-hang the head.. Sara-the-Engineer will be able to give me a hint, I think.
