Abstract

I am determined to keep attempting abstracts.  I love them.  They impress me when I see ones that are well done, cohesive, interesting…

This canvas (18×24) has so many multi-media pieces attached to it, you would not believe it – postage stamps, printed copy paper, torn up magazine images, tissue paper, napkins….and other stuff that I can’t even remember.

This is only at the underpainting stage.  It will eventually have a simple figure filling 2/3 of the canvas.  So far, I like it – the colors work, and I think the composition will be suitable for what I intend to do next:

Attitudea

Sometimes I name my paintings; this one will be called Attitude Adjustment.
