I’ve had a couple great days in the studio with my sister, Lorna. She wants to do watercolor Christmas Cards once or twice a month, so that they’re all done BEFORE Christmas – what a concept!!
She is picking up the techniques of watercolor amazingly quickly, and has improved enormously over the last year or so. Here’s what we created in two half-day sessions.
6 Each of both these cards:
They’re painted on 140 lb watercolor paper and will be mounted on Black Cardstock.
I am honoured to have made your art site Cher…wuuuuuhuuu!
I am so enjoying making these cards, first, one on one instruction, how lucky am I!!! And second, in a relaxed, calm space, knowing that we have months to complete them.
Thanks Cher, for being such an awesome friend/sister.
Right back atcha, kiddo!
They’re great – make extras and you can sell them.
Ha, I don’t know how any artist makes any money; these are time consuming!
They look great but it just doesn’t seem right to be thinking of Xmas now. Just got back from a hike and there is still snow on the ground from last winter.
We keep telling you – move HERE to god’s country!!!
I love the sheep. Simple but very effective.
They are both beautiful … well done ladies!
Thank you!
