Buddha in the Garden

We have this gorgeous Blue Buddha in our garden (thanks mum!).  He sits on a rock wall, nestled into some shrubbery.  I hadn’t sketched in my Moleskine in a while, so that’s what I did this morning.

The pencil sketch took about 15 minutes, then I layed down some color, let that dry, and finished it with Pen. I should have laid down a vague, greeny background first, but didn’t think of it till it was too late. C’est la vie………
